The What? Centre currently offers video counselling (via Zoom) as well as an online chat option through our own platform. These online services are also available for groups and advice as well. 

We have worked closely with Health England and Youth Access and Off the Record along with several other voluntary youth counselling services across the country some of whom are now live, to develop our own platform.  The service will provide synchronous and asynchronous capacity where you can message us anytime of the day or night and we will get back to you within an agreed number of hours, it will also have links to help lines in emergency situations.  This is also used to provide a facility for live online attendance for group work on anger management, coping with anxiety, bullying, and other issues pertinent to young people.

This service will also help to reduce our waiting list and waiting time for counselling and will complement our other counselling and advice services.
