Support for young people/adults Upcoming Events Date Details Breathe (anxiety) support group Thursdays 5pm to 6pm Via Zoom For 13 to 18 year old young people who are wanting peer support around anxiety and who would like to look at supporting other young people by working with the charity. LGBTQ+ (Dudley) group - 13s to 18s Wednesdays 5pm to 6pm Via Zoom and face to face Dudley branch LGBTQ group for any young person between the ages of 13 to 18 years who would like a safe space to explore LGBTQ issues, identity and other issues with like-minded individuals UPCOMING! BAME group (13s to 18s) Saturdays 11am to 12pm Dudley Branch Please register your interest by emailing [email protected] Group designed for any young person who identifies with the black and minority ethnic community who would like s safe space to explore issues and areas that impact them with other young people BeeHIVe Gay Men’s Group (18+ only) Every 2nd and 4th Saturday, 1pm to pm Chadd House, Dudley If interested and wish to join email [email protected] A supportive group where you can socialise and make new friends. Frequent talks from guest speakers on topics such as hate crime, victim support and transgender support. BeeHIVe Adult LGBTQ+ group (18+ only) Every Fortnight Wednesday, 4:30pm-6pm Dudley branch If interested and wish to join email [email protected] A safe place for people to meet others from the LGBTQ+ community within the Dudley Borough, and receive support from their peers. BeeHIVe HIV Therapy Group (18+ only) Due to start again start of January at Brindley House, Dudley Support for HIV positive and/or at-risk adults who would like a safe, therapeutic space to explore with their peers Support for families Family Support Workshop Every Fortnight Tuesdays at 5pm (New intake due soon!) Small groups of families are able to come together to discuss family struggles with both parents/guardians and young people. These have a set topic each session and discussion after Family Anxiety workshop Every Thursday at 5pm Via Zoom If interested, please complete our referral form and you will be contacted. A unique opportunity for one parent/guardian and one child to come together to work systemically on issues around anxiety and how the family can support each other. Run by a systemic family therapist. LGBTQ+ Parents/carers online support group Monthly, First Tuesday of the month from 6-7pm Via Zoom To find out more contact: [email protected]/[email protected] or fill in our referral form We offer a parents/carers online support group, run by two therapists, on the last Tuesday of every month from 6-7pm. This service will offer group support to parents/carers of young people, this includes providing a space to share and explore their feelings, whilst developing skills that can support further understanding, healthier communication and improve relationships. Advice work: Monday 12.00pm to 5pm Wednesday 09:30am to 2.30pm Friday 09:30 to 2.30pm Advice can be on most subjects – employment, benefits, legal + court-related, utilities, housing, family and relationship and issues. We can advise on debt too, but only basic advice for that (not casework), consumer.
